matran tigers are now only about 200 left. For the protection of the increasingly rare Sumatran tiger, Indonesia is now considering allowing the private sector to raise Sumatran tigers as pets. Any Indonesian citizen can adopt a pair of Sumatran tigers only they pay 1 billion Indonesian rupiah.
