Giant Pumpkin Contest held in Japan pumpkin weighing nearly 400kg won the first prize

“Japan’s first giant pumpkin contest” opened on Sep 26 in Japan. The super giant pumpkin was brought together and competed weight. A giant pumpkin weighing 398.3 kg win the champion.
The competition organizing committee said it is the 24th pumpkin contest this year, there are five counties, twenty persons to take part in the contest in Tokyo. The champion was very modestly, and said he was lucky to win the champion. In west Japan, the temperature was too high, not suitable for growing pumpkin.
Apart from the work, he irrigates and fertilizes every day for the pumpkin. He also said next year he would like to challenge in order to update his own record this year.
The champion will also represent Japan to attend the Global Competition on Oct 16 in the United States.
